 |
|
Here is some features that already done:
1. full customizable tgp database - it means that you'll have complete control on every tgp from database, you're able to choose what recip from tgp you want to use (you know that tgps usually have several recips), you're able to use or not special scheduler to submit more than 1 gallery a day to tgps which allows more, you're even able to see rules for each tgp right in RS2. The main advantage that now it will support ALL tgps....but not all submit methods will be available for each tgp.
2. four submit methods - autosubmission, human emulator, mail submitter, and special frame based easy in use hand submission tool for tgps which really matters for you
3. improved file naming - now will be possible to use absolutely all types of naming for generated files. It means that you will be able to set naming template for all tgps with your favorite naminig method - index1.html, index2.html... or al4a.html, thumbzilla.html ... or 0001.html, 0002.html.... or you can set whatever you like... laura.htm, julia.htm etc..
4. RS2 will support ALL categories (more than 250)... sounds unbeleivable but it works Moreover on entering description step you'll be able to choose as many categories as you like. That also means that RS will submit only under exact category
5. FTP uploading - no more need to upload or download anything... but RS wouldn't work if you don't have FTP access to your host, or you'll have to switch off building recips page mechanism and submit only to no-recip tgps (it is also good if you work with sponsor premade galleries)
6. More customizable recip placement... RS2 will support <recips> tag and also <recip1> <recip2> etc... so you'll be able to choose a place for each recip
7. Ability to work with parnter codes
8. Separate databases for pix and movies galleries
9. It becomes very tough program, so complete help and tips for each page will be available right on each page.
And a lot of minor improvements...quick setup buttons, ability to choose what new tgps must be added to you database (you'll have complete control on it)... smart sorting tgps by traffic, nationality, possible submit tools... also ability to manage tasks queue with sorting.... etc ... etc
Resume: we made RS2 for massive and also for accurate posting. you'll be able to choose only 10-20 tgps you want and use RS2 as smart tool for accurate job.. or switch your favorite tgps for hand submission tool and autosubmit to all others.
All depends on you and your needs... RS is a tool to help you in your deal
Please don't cheat using it.

Everything went ok until it was time to remotly connect to the ftp. Cant browse through the folders onm the server all it lists is "root/" ID click root and it would go nowhere not allowing me to locate the html file for the page. I could right click and open it a new browser where I could type in the path in the url addy bar and get to it but from there you cant double click the html file to make it usable from a new window |

Wad, I suggest you recheck the tgps included. I was going to try it tonight, but there first thing I checked to see was if one of our tgps, www.pussylook.com was on there. It wasn't. In fact, none of the lower end of the "p's" was in the list. Using this would be leaving tgps behind. |

Thanx for comments.
Tuffruff you should check settings of your FTP server and choose higher directory as remote gallery folder... or just wait until we finish packing feature like in RS1
About database... I know that there might be a lot of TGPs missed in RS2 because database is quite new. I hope that within a month of massive using database will be extended and fixed if necessary. |

Really! I see index for each tgp, and nowhere to make a global name change. Does that mean that I must change the filenames one qat a time? And why index? Some tgp's will not post when a gallery contains the name "index".

problem with missed files fixed.
Hand submission tool in development... now you can simply go to tasks manager to see what urls and where you should submit by hand. Then hand submit them...

That is a new one for me. I've never heard of TGPs that wouldn't take a file with index in them. I always name my files index so that the one at the root of my gallery folder is the no recip version.

I'm not getting my host information filled in correctly.
I only can enter my host with the given IP-adress and right,
it's the IP-adress I can't use here, he don't accept it.
Big Big mistake as you can expect that from a host.
No, I can't seem to use my domain

p.s. RS took about 2 hrs to submit one gallery, RS2 has shortened this time down to 40 min.

I can't use my domain name to log into my webhost, it failed for an unknown reason. I tried all combinations.
btw only IP works and that's what I miss as possibility to use.

I'm an idiot, I've been trying to login to the TGP2 submitter thinking it was the RS2.
Amazingly enough my user ID/Password works just fine in the RS2.
I'm going to try to set it up this week and give it a spin.

I set up a FTP server just for the RS2. It's just a very old Mac here on my network so I don't give a shit who has access to it, lol.

Ok I gave RS2 a try…
I did a hardcore gallery, but it only submitted to a little over 300 sites. One of the sites it skipped was mine, can't figure out why it is skipping so many, especially mine.
When I tried to run the Confirmer it gave me the message " No patterns -> No reason to continue." I ended up confirming the e-mails by hand.
I did remember to add "rs2_" before all my login names.

Cleo, Confimer doesn't need 'rs2_' prefix
about gallery in RS2 and too few TGPs... you missed that on selecting category step you can click on main category name to see a list of subcategories... there you can set as much categories and subcategories as you want.
So it's even possible to submit to all tgps

Thanks for the tip, I did miss the more categories, but that wasn't the problem.
The problem is I didn't wait for the upload page to finish FTPing the files to my server. I did wait for almost 1 hour on one try for it to finish and it never did. I had to keep going back and deleting all the tasks and then trying again. It finally did finish after about the 4th or 5th try.
Any ideas on what the FTP problem is? The "FTP" server is right here in the same room that I'm sitting in and it's connected through a high speed DSL line with very little traffic, it's just my own personally internet connection, so I don't think it's a speed issue.
Also how do I get the gallery numbering to default to letters instead of numbers? I set up everything yesterday for the gallery that I did, but today it defaulted back to numbers.
Thanks for the help

I guess that is one of the unfinished parts.
I'm not sure about TGPs, but link lists hate numbers in the url. No one wants to be on index123.html, it's an ego thing.
Hopefully this will be addressed soon, at least make the default letters.
The good news is everything worked great in today's submit and I had no e-mails that needed to be confirmed by hand.
The admin is glacier slow for me sometimes. How is it speed wise for you?
