First of all I run 4 TGP's with over 200,00 hits each day.
As a TGP owner suddenly getting 100's of Submissions each day from RS users,
I know exactly why some, if not MOST submitters are not earning anything. First of all, There is at least 100 people spamming the TGP's using the submitter. All this does is get you banned in a big hurry.
Hell, most of us arn't even kind enough to let you know we banned you! We just send your submission to /dev/null, and you just keep on submitting wondering why your not listed.

Next, a vast majority of users do not read or follow the rules for the TGP's they submit to. They seem to feel that with the large numbers of TGP's they are submitting to, that a few rejects are acceptable. Unfortunately, all that is really happening is rejects on a grand scale! Do you guys really think there is an endless supply of TGP's to SPAM? Hell, I share my black list with at least 10 guys, and they do they same for me.

Next, MOST posts submitted through RS are crap. Crap thumbs, crap pictures and cluttered galleries. TGP Webmasters have not changed the meaning of the word "quality" just because an easy to use submission tool has been Invented.

Yes, there are posts from People that use RS that I accept at my TGP's. However, these are people already on my preferred list anyway. Since RS has started to be used on a large scale, I have been banning an average of 20 to 30 submitters each day.

Hopefully you guys will read this and think about what I just said. Yes, in my opinion RS users can make allot of money using RS. Hell, I like the idea! But first they need to start following the TGP rules and submitting quality galleries rather than shit. Right now, all RS is; is a SPAM tool, not a TGP tool.

Still wondering what earns money and what dos not? Stop by some of the larger TGP's, look at the guys posting on a regular basis. These guys are successful because the do not SPAM and they follow the rules. As a result they get listed and get a ton of traffic.

What TGPs do you run. I want to check out your rules. I ALWAYS send quality galleries with fresh content which I purchase. Been doin this for a couple years now but just started usin RS to save time. I also run TGP "TGP Highway" Want to make sure I comply with all rules. Never been blacklisted (to the best of my knowledge) hopefuly never will. I also get a lot of crap submissions, but I just hit the decline button unless I get a gallery with pop-ups, frames, or redirects. I blacklist them.

If your using RS as intended, then the above message is not for you. I think I pointed out earlier that not all webmasters using RS abusing it, and indeed I do accept submissions from some of the webmasters using it. But I will point this out to everyone:
The amount of submissions for allot of TGP's has gone through the roof. This includes the biggest TGP's. The result is longer to wait to get listed, more work for the webmasters, and less tolerance for poor quality. In other words,
It will now become harder for all to get regular lists, especially on the real traffic generating TGP's.

How many submissions each day do you receive? I get well over 1500.
This means a queue of several days to look at them all. Again, longer and longer between lists.

I forsee as an end result, that paid for spots on TGP's will become a hot item in the future. Why? Because there is only so many hours in each day to look at galleries. I look forward to this. All us TGP webmasters will make a ton of money. Heck, even Sites of medium size will start making a killing!

Or, the makers of this fine tool could start moderating it and demanding that users start posting quality posts easly exceptable by all. This would certainly help keep the gallery webmasters cost down in the future.

I really don't think the makers of this fine tool care about that. If I were them I wouldn't, anyway. Why do something like that if you can earn your more money (you dont scare away any customers) without doing it?

I've had one or two complaints about poor quality and was able to work out a solution. My question is, how can I tell if I'm creating a good or bad rep?

thx

I want to echo what the first poster is saying. I run one of the largest asian themed TGPs' and even though I am an RS user I pretty well have to ban everything submitted to my TGP that looks like it was done with RS.

There are a number of people doing quality galleries, and I thank you for that.

But there are 20x that number spamming me
with galleries that will quickly 404 so they can cheat and get a small amount of money from a blind click sponsor.

Wad, there should be some limits to the number of submissions a user can do in 24 hours...like maybe 3.

The limit should be 1 submission in all TGPs per day!

It's amazing how much crap is submitted by RS users.
Our TGP recently got added to the database, and a lot of submitted sites aren't even galleries, and half of what's left is too stupid to upload the new updated images pack so you get to see a page with all recip buttons working except ours... Well I think you can guess what we do with those submissions.
We don't NEED your submissions, I mean of course TGPs need submissions, but not per se those from RS users, so having our TGP in the RS database is basically doing YOU a big fucking favour, so don't screw it up by submitting pure crap or this fun will be over quite soon. I'm quite sure a lot more TGP webmasters think about it this way.

its nothing RS can do about this, the button updates are available on the same page as where you get your generated pages. its just that everyone's too lazy to download them, or something

Again...I DO DOWNLOAD AND THEN UPLOAD ALL THE UPDATED RECIPS EVERYTIME I USE RS...BUT I STILL GET SOME BROKEN RECIP BUTTONS.

How can that be my mistake? I don't generate the pages RS does!!

I'm just asking RS to make sure that THEY are keeping current with the recip buttons.
